Making a landscape photograph begins with deciding what matters in the scene. Artistic Creationz is developing small-group landscape photography workshops that give you time to study light, explore a composition and make purposeful technical choices.
With Neal Nachman and Liz Stokes, the planned approach combines field technique and the visual judgment behind their fine-art photography. Typically 4–6 photographers, depending on the destination, itinerary, transportation, and applicable permit requirements. Final guide teams and group limits will be stated before booking.
Read the Light and Build the Composition
We want to work with the scene in front of us: a broad view, an intimate detail, moving water, a forest pattern or a changing sky. Instruction may explore light direction, weather, foreground selection and the relationships between shapes within the frame.
Moving the camera a short distance or changing lens choice can transform a photograph. We will encourage deliberate comparisons so you can see why one arrangement supports your idea more clearly than another.
Field Technique With a Creative Purpose
Connect focal length, camera position and perspective to your intended composition.
Choose focus placement and depth of field for the detail you want to hold.
Work on tripod technique, stability and sharpness when appropriate.
Explore long exposure, filters and the appearance of moving water or clouds.
Consider intentional camera motion as an optional creative direction.
Respond to sunrise, sunset, blue hour and changing weather without relying on a promised sky.
Time to Develop a Scene
A photography-centered itinerary should leave room to refine an image and ask questions. Proposed experiences are being shaped around productive field time, with the actual walking, driving, breaks and session schedule disclosed for each departure.
Image review may be offered where the itinerary and facilities make it practical. When included, it can connect field choices with the finished frame and help you develop your own visual style.
Florida, U.S. and International Destination Concepts
Our Florida landscape workshops explore coastal light, wetlands and reflections through completely land-based access. There are no boats, pontoon boats, airboats or boat-based excursions on Florida experiences.
The 2027 development pipeline includes Blue Ridge waterfalls, Colorado mountain light, Acadia and other landscape or wildlife-and-landscape concepts. The future tours hub also includes Lake Tahoe summer and winter, Michigan winter landscapes, Alaska, Costa Rica and the Canadian Rockies. Seasons and durations are provisional, and required access and operating arrangements must be confirmed before any tour becomes bookable.
Find a Workshop That Fits
Tell us your experience level, preferred subjects and travel season. Released trip information will describe walking, terrain, altitude where relevant, gear and inclusions. Flowers, fall color, weather and light cannot be guaranteed.
Explore 2027 tour concepts, meet Neal and Liz, or read the tour FAQs. Share your interests through Early Access so we can develop experiences around the subjects and seasons that matter to you.
